He previously helped bring the classic graphic novel Watchmen to the silver screen, and now screenwriter Alex Tse is going to take a crack at doing the same thing for Gran Turismo, Columbia Pictures' feature film adaptation of the hit Sony video game.
Although The Hollywood Reporter claims Tse's story approach is being kept under wraps, we heard in August that the movie would "cover the life of Lucas Ordóñez, a Gran Turismo player-turned-professional racecar driver. Fans might recognize Ordóñez's name from his appearance in the Gran Turismo 6 demo, where he was featured as a previous winner of the GT Academy."
Oscar winner Kevin Spacey, Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti -- the team behind The Social Network and Captain Phillips -- will produce.
